“You still plan on going to New Orleans?” Joe asked while looking across the sugar cane fields.
“I do. There is so much going on there.”
“Gustave, the whole city just recently burned to the ground. There can’t be much going on there.” Joe chuckled as he continued to rake hay.
“The city is being rebuilt and the soil is rich. I want to have my own plantation. The Mississippi delta is full of opportunity,” Gustave said casting his eyes across the fields of sugar.
